How We Evaluate Your Coins

Metal Content Value

For common-date gold and silver coins, we calculate the base value using the current live spot price and the coin’s precious metal weight. This is your guaranteed floor—the minimum your coin is worth.

Numismatic Premium

Many coins are worth significantly more than their metal content due to rarity, mintage, condition, historical significance, or collector demand. We identify key dates, mint marks, varieties, and grading factors that other dealers might overlook—or intentionally ignore.

Condition Assessment

The grade (condition) of a coin can dramatically affect its value. We carefully assess each coin’s surfaces, luster, strike quality, and wear. For graded coins (PCGS, NGC), we verify the slab and grade.

Transparent Offer

We explain exactly how we arrive at our price—what’s based on metal content, what’s based on numismatic value, and why. You’ll never wonder how we came up with a number.

Tips Before You Sell Your Coins

Don’t clean your coins.  This is the number one mistake coin owners make. Cleaning a coin—even gently—can significantly reduce its collector value. Natural toning and patina are actually desirable to collectors. Bring your coins in as-is. Keep them in their holders.
